Cascade Weaving

Dates: September 15,22,29, 2018
Time: 9am to 12pm

This weaving class will include beginning weaving students and also those who have had some experience with weaving on the four-shaft loom. The beginners will come to class on the first day with the loom already set up for them and will weave a cloth to line a basket; the next two Saturdays they will learn how to set up the loom themselves and weave a scarf or a twill sampler. Those with more experience will start setting up the loom on the first day with the pattern that is provided; typically it will be for towels or a table runner in an interesting weave structure. For Fall 2018 it will be Swedish Lace Towels.
